Terms of Use

('I', 'me', 'we') refers to the software developer who developed this application. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and me for your use of the Chart AI - Trading Analysis app for iPhone and Android (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

App Store and Google Play Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms add to it. If there is any conflict, the Standard EULA applies to the extent required. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

License

I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

Not Financial Advice

Chart AI is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

• The analysis, patterns, trend readings, levels, signals and any other output are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or entirely wrong, and may misread the chart you provide.
• Nothing in the App is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, currency, cryptocurrency, commodity or other asset.
• I am not a registered financial adviser, broker or investment professional.
• Trading and investing carry a high risk of loss, including the loss of more than your initial investment. Past performance and chart patterns do not guarantee future results. There is no guarantee of profits.
• You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions and their results. Always do your own research and consider speaking to a qualified, licensed financial professional before making any financial decision.

Subscriptions and Payments

The App can be downloaded for free. Some features require a Chart AI Pro subscription.

• Plans: Chart AI Pro is offered as an auto-renewing weekly subscription and an auto-renewing yearly subscription. The weekly plan may include a free trial where offered. Current prices and plan details are shown in the App before you buy, and may vary by country.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase (or, for a free trial, when the trial ends).
• Auto-renewal: your subscription automatically renews for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Free trials: if you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you will not be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds: payments are handled by Apple or Google, and refunds are subject to their policies. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play.
• Restoring purchases: if you reinstall the App or change devices, use "Restore" on the paywall screen to restore an active subscription linked to your store account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload images you do not have the right to use, or images that are illegal, harmful, abusive or unrelated to chart analysis.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or tamper with the App, or bypass its security, App Check or subscription checks, except where the law allows this.
• Use bots, scripts or automated means to access the App or its AI service, or overload or disrupt the service.
• Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the App or its output as a signals or advisory service.

Your Content

You keep any rights you have in the chart images you upload. You give me and my service providers (such as Google) permission to process those images only as needed to generate your analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the images you upload.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos and name, is owned by me or my licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use my trademarks or branding. Third-party names, market data and trademarks that may appear in charts belong to their respective owners.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Google (Firebase and Gemini AI models), RevenueCat, Apple and Google Play. Their availability is outside my control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and all of its output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any analysis will be accurate or profitable.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, investment losses, loss of data or loss of opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App or any decision you make based on its output, even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages. My total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it (remember to cancel any subscription separately in your store settings). I may suspend or end your access to the App if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Not Financial Advice, Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability) will survive termination.

Changes to the App and These Terms

I may update, change or discontinue features of the App from time to time. I may also update these Terms, and the "Last updated" date above will change. If you keep using the App after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, unless the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
